Top-ranked in Japan in the rate of students entering universities and graduate schools
More than 86% enrollment rate in national public and top private universities/graduate schools. As of 4/2026: 205 students to Kyoto University, 47 to the University of Tokyo, and 2244 to national and public universities in total.
There are many award recipients from JASSO.
JCL students win 40 to 80 awards each year out of a total of more than 800 schools in Japan with more than 500 places available.
JCL students achieve high average scores in the Japanese component of the EJU exam.
National average: about 260 points out of 450 points, JCL annual average of more than 330 points out of 450 points, about 70 points higher than national average

Facilities
JCL has four academic buildings, which are Hon-kan Building, Shin-kan Building, Chuou-kan Building, and Annex Building, which can accommodate approximately 800 students at the same time. Each building is fully equipped, and in addition to classrooms and faculty offices, there are academic advising rooms, multimedia classrooms, a student lobby, a health center, a library, and study rooms to provide an environment for higher quality learning for all students.
