Dormitory fees are paid in full for one year after the Certificate of Eligibility has been received.
Notes
- After the Certificate of Eligibility has been issued, the School arranges the dormitories and room types collectively and assigns them to students in turn. Dormitory fees are paid one year in advance at the outset; if a student moves out during the year, a refund is made under the rules set out above. Residence is guaranteed for one year in principle.
- Every room is fully equipped for daily life, with a bathroom, toilet, kitchen, furniture, appliances and an internet connection.
- Students who wish to live somewhere other than the school dormitories must inform the School at the time of application.

Normally, the living expenses in Kyoto is about 40,000 to 60,000 JPY.

| Before admission | 1) The applicant withdraws after the application has been filed with the Immigration Services Agency, or after the Certificate of Eligibility has been received. 2) The student visa application at the Japanese embassy or consulate is refused. | The screening fee and the admission fee (120,000 JPY in total) are not refundable. |
| After admission (fees) | Withdrawal in order to go on to further study, to take up employment, or to return home. | Where six months or more of the course remain untaken, six months’ tuition is refunded once the withdrawal formalities are complete. |
