JCL Selected as a Class I Properly Managed Institution (2023)

In the Immigration Services Agency's 2023 review, JCL was designated a Class I Properly Managed Institution.

On October 4, 2023, the Student and Trainee Examination Division of the Osaka Regional Immigration Services Bureau notified JCL that the school had been designated a Class I Properly Managed Institution for 2023.

What this designation means

The Immigration Services Agency of Japan classifies Japanese language institutions according to how well they manage student enrollment. Class I is the highest category, reserved for institutions whose enrollment management is judged to be especially sound.

What it means for students and families

At a designated institution, the documents required for a Certificate of Eligibility application are simplified, which lightens the paperwork for students and their families.
